The University of California Davis has received a federal grant of almost $1 million to lead the University of California system’s efforts to reduce violence against women.

The Office on Violence Against Women (within the U.S. Department of Justice) gave the university $999,369 for a three year project that will strive to reduce the incidences of campus based violence against women, including sexual assault and stalking, along with domestic and dating violence.

Business education degree programs offered by the University of Phoenix, which operates college campuses in Sacramento, Rancho Cordova, Elk Grove, Fairfield, and Roseville, have received full accreditation from the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs.

The programs receiving accreditation include:

associate of arts in business,

associate of arts in accounting,

bachelor of science in business,

master’s degree programs in business administration and management,

executive master’s degree program in business administration,

doctorates in management and business administration.
